I Have A Facebook Page, Why Do I Need A Website?

Image
Some people will tell you a website is not necessary, and they have done amazing things with just a Facebook page. However, not everyone is active on Facebook and some people just won’t use a company that doesn’t have a website. Currently in the UK there are 44.84 million Facebook users, there is no way of finding out how many of these are active and use Facebook on a daily basis. There is data to show how many people use the internet on a daily basis. In a Statista report published Aug 19, 2020 they revealed that 46.6 million people use the internet on a daily basis. This highlights the need to have a website as well as a Facebook page. You can operate your business with just a Facebook business page; however, you will be limiting your client base and won’t be able to easily scale your business and maximise its opportunities. Using only Facebook will limit your client base to those who are on and actively using that platform. Facebook is a social media platform – a busine...

Image

If for example, you are a small builder working in a localised area it may not be necessary to update your design as quickly as if your website is an E-Commerce site selling IT equipment. The average life for most types of websites before a re-design is approximately 3 years. At Guzzbury Studio, we don’t believe there is any generic timeframe whereby you must update your website design. Based in Taunton, website design is our passion, we love re-designing sites and adding a modern or updated spin to them. There are various points at which you should seriously consider refreshing your website design:   If your website is no longer generating leads and producing new clients as it once did. If you are receiving r...
